Aims and Scope

The journal aims to share scientific studies carried out in the fields of navigation and maritime transport at national and international levels with scientists and the public. Original research articles after review in marine science disciplines are accepted for the journal.

Contribute to the Maritime Library which contains both old and latest reference books and nautical publications related to Navigation and other related sciences.

The journal is a unique international initiative in the Arab world. It provides an independent platform for key players in development to share research papers, to express their views and opinions, and to share their experiences and knowledge with other international maritime and navigation actors from around the world. To be published allowing experts from diverse fields to contribute critical analysis, and encouraging cooperation among authors.

Ain Journal follows up on the latest technologies and the newest achievements in General Navigation, Electronic Navigation, Satellite Navigation, Satellite Communications, VTS … etc.

Being updated to all the scientific and technological developments in the group of sciences that are related directly to Navigation: such as Astronomy, Charts, Oceanography, Electronics, and communications.

Following the newest trends in Fire Fighting Equipment and pollution prevention onboard maritime units, keeping the seafarers and environment safer. In addition to giving special interest to the Safety of Navigation developments and the safety of offshore units such as mobile and fixed offshore drilling units and related service marine units.
